National Night Out
National Night Out (NNO) National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Shop with a First Responder
Shop with a First Responder is a community event where children are paired with local first responders to go shopping for holiday gifts. The purpose of the event is to provide a fun and memorable experience for kids, while also fostering positive relationships between first responders and the community.
Community Advisory Board
The Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a group of community members who work in partnership with local law enforcement agencies to improve police-community relations, provide feedback on policing practices, and offer recommendations on how to enhance public safety.
Crime & Theft Prevention
- Keep a record of all serial numbers, makes & models. Many APPS are now available for smartphones and tables to help keep an accurate inventory of your personal belongings.
- Keep guns locked in gun safes.
- Activate or install tracing APPS for smartphones and tablets.
- Install motion sensor lights outside of your home.
- Use timers on lights when away from home for more than one day.
- Don’t leave valuables in your car.
- Keep a record of all credit card contact information in the event that you need to call and cancel your cards that are lost or stolen.
- Monitor your bank accounts and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
Coffee with a Cop
Join us periodically throughout the year at a local coffee shop. Dates will be announced when our staff will be at a specific location for community members to come out and connect with us, let us know what is going on, or just say hi.
