The Town of Kitty Hawk is partnering with College of The Albemarle (COA) to provide free drop-in Digital Literacy and Skills Training sessions for community members looking to build confidence using technology in everyday life.
Sessions will be held at Kitty Hawk Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on:

- June 4
- June 18
Participants may attend one session or all three. Participants are encouraged to bring their own device, though loaner devices will also be available. The training sessions, led a COA instructor, will cover a variety of practical technology skills, including:
Essential Computer Skills
- Phone keyboard basics and logging in
- Basic computer skills
- Internet basics
- Windows 10/11
- Mac OS
Essential Software Skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Google Docs
Using Technology in Daily Life
- Social media
- Information literacy
- Career search skills
- Cybersecurity
- Digital footprint awareness
- K-12 distance learning
